If you’re looking for a stylish, sturdy, and straightforward laptop that features full HD and packs a Blu-ray Disc drive, then look no further. The 15.5” Vaio E comes equipped with all this and more, at a reasonable price per pound. With the latest Intel Core i5-460M 2.53GHz processor paired with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics accelerator, it’s definitely got the power needed to not only run those beautiful BDs, but the latest games as well. 13.1” Sony Vaio Z Series (VPCZ137GG) #

Sporting an Intel Core i5-580M 2.66GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 3.33GHz!) processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics card, dual 64GB SSD memory in RAID 0 configuration, and 6GB DDR3 RAM – upgradeable to 8GB, naturally – this is a seriously breathtaking piece of equipment, but it’s got that asphyxiating pricetag to go with it. Still, for those lucky enough to adopt one, the Vaio Z is as well-crafted as it is well-stocked; it’s fully armored in multi-layered carbon fiber, which looks great and helps keep it as light as the new Macbook Air. Add the chiclet-style, seamless aluminium keyboard with its subtle green backlighting and you have a machine that simply oozes sexiness. Can you smell the pheromones already?

Neither of these configurations are available in the Philippines yet (less impressive configurations are, however), so you’ll have to keep it in your pants – your wallet, of course! – until they get here.
