Gotta redo it because it’s not squared off, but I think this prototype works well! Don’t ask for how this affects thermals cuz I don’t have a computer inside of it currently, I’ll be migrating my parts over into it once my CPU arrives.
I’ve never worked with wood before (am more of a papercraft and soldering iron guy), but this was a nice learning experience. Will definitely do better for version 2.
It’s IO-side down, by the way, so when a GPU does get installed, it shouldn’t negatively affect thermals. But I’ll make sure to test before and after, once my parts go in the case. Cables get routed through to the back or sides via a hole in the base.
