I was mounting my Mi Surface 34 to my monitor arm and figured I’d just reuse the same screws, which are a little long because the previous monitor that was on it had very long spacers.

One of the screws dug right into the Surface’s motherboard because there’s nothing protecting it from underneath the screw hole. It etched a couple copper traces right off.

It’s only been about 4 months since I ascended into ultrawidemasterracedom, but now I must descend back into regular old 16:9. It’s hard going back but I simply can’t afford to splurge on another UW again right now.
